Blanc de Blancs can only be made from white grapes and is known for its elegance and finesse. Chandon Vintage Blanc de Blancs 2017 well and truly delivers on that promise. Hailing from the Whitlands vineyard where elevation captures purity of fruit, 2017 was a cooler year which had winemakers rejoicing. The result, a sparkling which dances with energy despite considerable age. The nose is vibrant with lemon zest, grapefruit, apple blossom and charming minerality. On the palate, it is crisp and lively, with flavours of citrus and layers of hazelnut crumble and biscuit, sure to further develop in the coming months and years.
