Yindi Baining Tub Chair Full Upholstery
Indigenous Australian business Yindi Manufacturing is bringing its chairs to the Officeworks table with a unique collection designed to support First Nations communities. Locally made with Australian-moulded seat foam and Indigenous-made under-seat plastic, the chairs are upholstered with patterned fabrics created by artist Jedess Hudson, a descendant of the Ewamian and Western Yalanji people of North Queensland.
Yindi Manufacturing is committed to driving economic growth in Indigenous communities. “We are not just building chairs; we are sharing culture with not only our community but also with non-First Nations community,” says Yindi founder and Quandamooka, Butchulla and Githabul man, Ramone Close.
The online-only collection is available now as part of Officeworks’ People and Planet Positive range.
