The Butchers Friend Prime Block Shiraz is made from carefully selected vineyards across the Barossa Valley to give the wine a classic deep red colour and bold blackberry and dark cherry aromas. The palate is smooth and supple with plum, dark cherry and blackberry characters seamlessly supported by sweet vanilla notes from the 15 months spent in predominantly American oak. This is a beautiful, plush wine that drinks well now and can be carefully cellared for up to 10 years.
