To create a smart feature of contrasting trim around a plain internal door frame, you’ll need five 2.4m lengths of 12mm x 6mm half round dowel and leftover paint. To keep it renter friendly, don’t paint the back (to prevent bleed) and install with craft adhesive – no nails. Transform an op-shop glazed ceramic vessel with a chic dark hue. 1 Wash and dry vase, then lightly sand outside and 50mm inside the lip using 220-320 grit abrasive paper.
