Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Wynns Black Label Cabernet is a true icon of Australian wine. First produced in 1954, it has a reputation for ageing gracefully and displaying excellent varietal and regional characteristics.This beautifully balanced, medium-weight Cabernet opens with classic, fresh aromatics of blackberry and white sage, lifted by a subtle touch of lavender. The palate is fine, long, and generous, beginning with vibrant red cherry and plum before unfolding into deeper, earthy layers of moss and forest floor. Soft yet succulent acidity supports the fruit, while fine cedary oak and elegant, pliable tannins lend structure and finesse. A hint of thyme lingers on the finish, highlighting the varietal character and pedigree of this heritage label.
